On Mu͒seScore: BSG (Bernard Greenberg) explained the history, the difference between .org and .com, and the problems with either in an article of his pretty well. As I wrote in my free-scores.com profile, sadly, “management” has also negatively interfered with development of the .org software. In case of doubt, this self-hosted site is authoritative, as regards my sheet music. (also me)
